Can Judgments Against Property Be Removed After You File for Bankruptcy?

Interviewer: In bankruptcy, can the bankruptcy judge or the trustee remove a judgment from a piece of property as part of the relief?

Adam: It does depend on the timing with the other judgments. It could be done, if it is done in the right amount of time. There are different statutes of limitations for rectifying that previous judgment.
